Video Download Max ("we," "our," or "the App") values your trust. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use Video Download Max on supported platforms, including iOS and Android.

Video Download Max is primarily a video downloading and management tool. We only collect the information necessary to deliver and improve the service:
1.1 Video Data You Download
• Videos you download using the app;
• Download history, including source URLs and video metadata;
• Video quality preferences, download settings, and storage configurations you choose;
• Optional download metadata such as timestamps, file sizes, and organization tags.
These downloaded videos are stored locally on your device by default. We do not upload your downloaded videos or personal video data to our servers unless you explicitly choose a cloud-sync feature that is clearly described when enabled.
1.2 Device and Diagnostics Data
• Anonymous crash reports and performance logs from services such as Firebase Crashlytics help us diagnose issues and improve stability;
• Aggregated analytics from tools like Google Analytics for Firebase or App Store Connect event reports may capture session counts, feature usage, or device models. These datasets do not identify you personally.
1.3 Advertising and Third Parties
• Ad-supported experiences may use networks such as Google AdMob to show ads. These services may access your device advertising identifier, IP address, and general device information to deliver and measure ads;
• If you purchase an ad-free or premium plan, ads will be removed for the duration of your subscription;
• Third-party SDKs operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their practices.
2. How We Use Information
We process information to:
• Enable essential features, such as high-quality video downloading, multi-platform support, download management, and video format conversion;
• Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries;
• Analyze anonymized usage patterns to optimize download algorithms and user experience;
• Serve and monitor advertisements where applicable;
• Meet legal obligations and protect against misuse.
3. Data Storage and Security
• Local Data: Downloaded videos remain on your device. If you uninstall the App or reset your device, your locally stored videos may be deleted. You can export videos manually from within the App whenever available.
• Cloud Features: If we later introduce cloud sync or backup, we will clearly describe what data is uploaded and how you can manage or delete it.
• Safeguards: We employ security practices such as encrypted transport (HTTPS) for any data transfers, system permission sandboxes, and restricted employee access to aggregated analytics.
4. Your Choices and Rights
• Manage Permissions: You can revoke network access, storage access, notifications, or other permissions in your device settings at any time.
• Data Access & Export: Where supported, you can view and export your downloaded videos directly from the App.
• Deletion: Deleting the App removes local video data. For future cloud services, we will provide in-app options to delete synced data.
• Personalized Ads: You can reset advertising IDs or limit ad tracking via system settings (e.g., iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising; Android Settings → Privacy → Ads).
5. Children's Privacy
Video Download Max is intended for individuals aged 13 and older, or the minimum age permitted in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us so we can remove it promptly.
6. International Use
If you access Video Download Max from regions with different data protection laws, you consent to the processing of information in the jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate. We strive to comply with applicable regulations, but local legal requirements may vary.
